Full Remodel of Turnagain Dorm on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, This building was originally erected in the 1950’s and has served as an Airman dormitory since its completion. Concrete Structure of 25215 sqft

Megawatt Electric performed all tasks as the General Contractor on this project, to include Safety Preparation and Planning, all demolition of existing Generator, Fuel Systems, Concrete pads and Electrical. Install new Concrete Pads for 550KW Generator & 4000 Gallon Fuel Tank and Switchboards.
This has been a fun project, providing new tasks and resolutions to meet owner time lines.

this project consists of renovating the FMS maintenance building on JBER. Provide Epoxy flooring in the maintenance bays, office to get new wall and floor coverings, addition of water fountains, complete replacement of all interior and exterior lighting with new LED fixtures.

The project is a multi-function 2 story facility and contains a storage, admin, state of Alaska public health, morgue conference rooms garage and MRI.

Renovate two floors of the ANTHC HCB building. Including installation of an automated drug dispensing robot in the pharmacy. Additional work included full upgrade to existing pharmacy, all pharmacy work was completed without interruption of the existing facility.

Replacement of Fire alarm system – take-over of an upgrade previously started by another company. Remove foam releasing system. Install new system throughout facility.

This project will construct a new heated pre-engineered building (PEB) storage facility on JBER. Minimum building dimensions are 80’ wide x 120’ long x 24’ eave height with a gable roof at a 4/12 roof pitch.

This project is to construct a new heated pre‐engineered building (PEB) Wash Rack facility. Work consists of design and construction of a new concrete foundation, design and assembly of an insulated PEB, fastening the PEB to the concrete slab, installation of wash rack and all associated water, water heater, water storage, pumps/motors washing devices …

Marine Safety Office: Demolition and removal of underground fuel storage tank and replacing it with a new 3,000 gallon above ground storage tank at the Marine Safety Office. Includes a new canopy with Class 1 Div II lighting and electronic tank monitoring.
Cutter Support Building: Demolition and removal of an underground storage tank that supplied fuel to the building heating system. installation of a new 480v service on the building to support a new electric boiler to heat the building.

Remodel two schools in the islands of Prince William Sound. Using Small Barges, Landing Craft and Small Aircraft to deliver materials from Whittier Alaska to the smaller islands of Prince William Sound we will remodel two separate schools in the summers of 2024 & 2025

This is a TI Type Project, Converting old Bank Offices to Medical Facilities with 17 Exam rooms, 1 procedure room, 1 Xray room and office support areas. It is located on the 6th floor of an existing 6 floor building

Construct new Mercedes Benz Van Center, Includes four post lifts, tire changing equipment, showroom, parts room and break/office space

Medical office TI, Converting the first floor of an existing Bank to a Medical office space. It consists of 7 exam rooms, 1 procedure room and office support space. We will be separating an existing Electrical, Comm. & Fire Riser, to allow access from outside the suite.

Joint Base Elmendorf‐Richardson (JBER) is located on the northern edge of Anchorage, Alaska and is accessible from the Glenn highway at Boniface Parkway. The project location is on the Richardson side of the installation at Building 952. This project shall be accomplished as an Open Market General Construction Design Build (D-B) Project.
